Monday & Thursday 18:30 - 20:00

Please arrive at least 10 minutes early. Beginners and advanced students train together.

You are welcome to have a look at the trainings.

Kigarukai Aikido Club is associated with Harmonia Budo SE's aikido department and as such is a member of the Hungarian Aikido-Culture Association. Within the national association the club belongs to the Tamura Nobuyoshi section. Our technical leader is János Molnár (4. dan) president of HBSE.


Membership:

Those interested in learning more about Aikido are welcome to drop in at the dojo to observe a class at any time.

Aikido is a tradition based modern Japanese martial art. On our trainings you may learn aikido and develop your fitness and conflict management style.

As a beginner you may join the dojo any time during the year. All visiting aikidoka are welcome to train in this dojo regardless of affiliation. We accept members above the age of 16. Below 16 we advise you to find an appropriate dojo for teenagers or kids. Besides the minimum age limit we do not discriminate on the basis of age, gender, race, religion etc.. . Before the training please introduce yourself to the instructor and inform the instructor about any health issues you may have that could affect physical workout. Dojo rules should be followed at all times.

Equipment:

As a beginner please bring to class:

  • Long sweat-suit, without zippers
  • Plain white T-shirt or sweater
  • Slippers and towel

In case you already have proper quipment, please bring:

  • White gi
  • Jo, bokken, tanto (weapons)
  • Slippers and towel
